My name is Brooks Harris. I was born and raised in Nashville, TN, but have lived and practiced optometry in Ripley, TN since 1985. As an eye doctor, I have had extensive training in science, in school and out on my own. Unfortunately though, up to a few years ago, due to my scientific beliefs, I had doubts in God’s existence and the reliability of the Bible. In 1999 I began researching data on how modern scientific evidence supported the Bible and the creation story. I quickly realized that there is much evidence from many subject areas which drastically support the theory of creation, but cause many problems for the theory of evolution. My study of evidences (as scientific, historic, archaeological, etc.) proved to me that the Bible is very reliable. Therefore I realized I could trust the rest of the Bible including spiritual teachings as the Gospel of Jesus.
I developed this site with 3 goals in mind: 1) to help non-believers by answering questions and removing doubt, 2) to help Christians grow stronger in their faith and 3) to help Christians be able to defend their Christian faith by providing them with many evidences for why to believe.
